Gabrielle and Naomi are having a great time in Kentucky. They are adjusting well to the 40 degree change from home. I love Christmas every yearand anywhere but it truly is the best in good ole Kentucky.

More Carrots Please
Our sweet little Gabby is growing up. She is starting to like so many new foods. We just started giving her carrots a few days ago. She has such a sensitive little belly we have to introduce new foods very slowly. She loves her carrots. If I get up during her eating time before the jar is empty she gets so upset. It is so funny. Here are a few pictures of her enjoying her newest favorite food.

Big Girl Boots
Our sweet little Naomi is a full blown drama queen now. It is so fun for us to watch her grow and learn. She is such a girl. She loves purses, shoes, dolls, Dora, and so many other girly things. She is such a little mommy too. I can not believe how fast she has grown up. I remember before children, time seemed to go by a little slower. I can not believe that our baby girl is almost 2. As funny as the dramatic toddler days are right now, I can't help but want the time to stand still for a while. I am just not ready for them to grow up, especially since I will have two teenage girls only 16 months apart. Scary!

What is so funny?
Gabrielle thinks Naomi is so funny. She just will start cackling for no apparent reason. It is hilarious. It is interesting to watch them interact. I know that they will have many laughing moments together for years to come, that Matt and I will know nothing about. We look so forward to soaking in every laugh of their lives.

Candy Cane and Mistletoe
We love Christmas. It is by far the best holiday. We love Christmas light drives (when did we become our parents?), family, eating cookies all the time, giving gifts and getting them, chocolate dipped whatever, crowded stores, crying kids on Santa's lap, snow, and everything else involved. We just recently put up our tree. Naomi loved the ornaments. But as much as we love the craziness and sometimes elaborateness of this season we want our kids to know different. We want them to learn to stop, to slow down, to be patient, to enjoy the little things, to love the giving more than receiving. We want them to understand that truly Christmas (whenever it really happened) was a pure, simple yet divine day when a precious baby boy was born in a manager.

Rockstar in the making
Naomi is such a funny child. Just in the last few weeks she has started learning so much. She imitates everything we do. She just recently has found a love for playing Guitar Hero with daddy.

Thanksgiving Day
We had a great Thanksgiving. There was way too much food, which there always is when my grandmother is involved. But no really, we had planned to cook everything imaginable (even popovers, don't ask me) and then my grandmother went to Publix and bought a 120 dollar thanksgiving dinner (an extra turkey and all). We got it all worked out but I think we had like 10 different kinds of sweet potatoes and only like 2 people even eat them. Here are a few pictures.

Full of life
Gabby is such a sweet baby. After Naomi was born I never thought it possible for me to love a child as much as I loved her. I was wrong. My love for my precious Gabrielle is just as pure and strong as it was the first time around. She has a beautiful spirit. She is so reserved and attentive. She hardly ever cries(unless her belly hurts) and her smile almost makes me cry. She really is the perfect baby. Her big dark eyes can truly melt your heart.

Our little lady
Naomi is growing so fast. I feel like just yesterday she was Gabby's age. In the past few weeks she has started talking like crazy (just like a girl).
