Good Bye (for now)

Tomorrow the Haling's are moving to DC. On one hand it makes me really sad. Jill is one of my now closest friends, and one of the first real friends I have made outside of my home town. Kaitlyn of course, is Naomi's best friend, really her only "friend." I know that Jill and I will always remain close but I just wonder if NaNa and Kate will ever even remember how much fun they had together. On the other hand I am very excited for them. DC offers such a whole new array of experiences and I know God has such awesome plans for them.
You guys will be greatly missed! We love you!

Alphabet Soup Letter B

Here are a few of our favorite things that start with the letter B:

1. Bible-need I say more.
2. Brownies-yummo! Naomi always wants a bite of someone's brownie.
3. Big Brother-the tv show, yes I know it is sometimes ridiculous, but so addicting!
4. Barbecue sauce/and or Bourbon glaze- seriously I think all food should come with one of these!
5. Baseball-Matt and I both have so many good memories...Matt played all his life and my dad coaching (and winning with his 12 year old all star team-I got to meet George Bush.)
6. Bengals-Who Dey?
7. Bread-homemade, which I never do, does anyone want to make me some?
8. Blue and White-The colors of the University of Kentucky! Go Cats!

Our little "Lady"

We have been trying to teach Naomi what it means to be ladylike! It has been really funny. One day I was talking to her about being proper, and I was joking around and showed her how to flip her hand down at her wrist. For some reason she did not quite understand exactly what I was saying. This is what has developed!

I know we need to correct her but our little bee hoper...is just so cute!

No more crawling in the Major House!

Here you go mom, here is a updated video of Gabby walking. This is actually from a week ago. She pretty much walks all the time now. She is not quite 14 months, so I am pretty sure she beat Naomi (I think NaNa walked right around 14 months). Our house is now officially crazy.

And yes Gabby is wearing Christmas boy pajamas and Naomi does not have on any pants! Typical!

Yummy!

We gave the girls popsicles after we got back from a walk the other day. They of course loved them. It was so cute to see how differently they enjoyed them. Gabby used her only two teeth and pretty much scarfed it down ( I had to pry the stick out her hand..she was not very happy when I took it away!) Naomi very neatly and carefully ate her popsicle making sure to savor every drop. They are so hilarious.

Gabby Giggles

HILARIOUS! Seriously, this is just a video of Gabby with the giggles. It is so funny! I am know I am partial, but I just love her laugh! Who ever knew that hearing my children laugh can almost bring tears to my eyes? I just love seeing them filled with joy!

Naomi and her Frog!

Naomi loves to swim now. We went down to my aunt's house a few weekends ago and got to go swimming. Before this time Naomi would not swim unless someone was holding her. She has gotten pretty used to her "froggy swim life jacket thing" and is all over the pool now. I guess we will have to get her in swim lessons soon!

Look what I can do!

Naomi thought she would paint her toenails all by herself! Then she came and told me, "Look at my toes mommy." Aren't they pretty? Much to my surprise there was hardly any nail polish any where except on her. I did get a little on the shirt I was wearing from picking her up and putting her on the bathroom counter, but for what it could have been, not too much damage was done.
