We ate dinner, listened to some admiral talk about the Navy, and watched a lot of people act like idiots. It was quite humorous, since most of them were from Matt's boat. He told me, "this is why they are making me stay for a sixth patrol" :)

Navy Officer Submarine Ball
Every year the submarine world throws a ball (at each submarine command) celebrating the "birthday" of the Submarine. We went two years ago when I was 8 months preggo and we got to go again this year. This year was so much fun! Matt's parents came down and watched the girls for us so that we could stay overnight at the Hyatt where the ball was located. Yeah for a night away from the kiddos! (Even though I missed them terribly!)
